Jackson Terminal Website Launch

Jackson Terminal is one of Knoxville’s most recognizable historic industrial buildings, located at the edge of the Old City just off Gay Street. Originally constructed in the late 19th century as a working freight depot for the East Tennessee, Virginia & Georgia Railway, the building played a role in the region’s early commercial growth and remains a visible part of the city’s architectural history.

The Beginning

I was brought in to design and build a focused website that presents the property clearly and respectfully. Documenting its history while providing straightforward information for visitors, tenants, and future leasing inquiries.

Scope

The site is intentionally simple: a single-page structure that highlights the building’s historic character, location, and current commercial use without unnecessary complexity. The goal was clarity and credibility, allowing the property itself to remain the central focus.
